This 2011 Russian River Valley Chardonnay is bursting with aromas of lemon custard, white peach and Crane melon. The lively aromatics are followed by equally intense flavors and an elegant finish. Barrel fermentation and oak aging for 14 months have added hints of vanilla bean, roasted hazelnut and baking spice to this complex and intriguing wine.
This low yielding vintage provided the raw materials to produce a truly outstanding Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Aromas are clearly dominated by bright red fruit tones of Bing cherry and red raspberry, while black fruits dominate on the palette. The bright aromas expand and give way to candied orange peel and East Asian spice notes.
This wine is a delightful accompaniment to a light summer lunch, a leisurely picnic or a laid-back summer evening. This Rosé has vibrant cranberry and
late-summer watermelon aromas, echoing flavors, all supported by bright acidity and a tart cherry like finish.
Maybe our most Burgundian Chardonnay in our portfolio, this seductive Chardonnay displays aromas of tangerine blossom and William Pear with underlying mineral notes. On the pallet the wine displays tension between bright acidity and cool-climate structure framed with flavors of white peach and crane melon.
This intense and concentrated single vineyard Chardonnay begins with vivid aromas of acacia, quince and citrus blossom. The vibrancy of the wines’ aroma is matched by its opulent texture and layered flavors of candied grapefruit, dried apricot with a mineral laden finish.
Rich and seductive aromas of vine ripened blackberry mingle with cumin, sandalwood and clove. On the palate the wine’s juicy mouthfeel is supported by ample acidity building with wild berry fruit through the mid-palate to the fine grain tannins on the finish.
This extraordinary single vineyard Pinot Noir gives an immediate impression of depth and concentration in the glass, with remarkably explosive aromas of anise, boysenberry and black cherry.
This alluring and hedonistic wine has amazing extract and purity of fruit focus. Vibrant fruit aromas of wild strawberry, cranberry and raspberry soufflé harmonize with floral and East-Indian spice notes. Heady aromas lead into equally vibrant flavors of Bing cherry, black raspberry and white pepper.
This flagship wine from our oldest estate vineyard produced a painfully low yield in 2010 of 0.92 tons-per-acre. A medium ruby color is followed by gorgeously intense aromas of spring flowers, Queen Anne cherries with graphite and mineral notes.
Planted in 1970, this hillside vineyard is planted on a steep and rocky slope on our estate at the northern end of Russian River Valley. We dry-farm these gnarled vines to produce small and compact clusters with incredible fruit intensity with bright acidity. After cluster sorting, destemming and berry sorting this wine was fermented utilizing open-top fermentation and the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 16 months.
This new wine for us has aromas of currant, black plum and Bing cherry. The lifted aromas are followed by flavors of red fruit and milk chocolate and hints of savory herbs, grilled meats and licorice.
